Yamanashi

Yamanashi’s most popular attractions are Mount Fuji and the five beautiful lakes located nearby. The main climbing route to the summit, the Yoshida Trail, begins here and there are numerous outdoor hot springs offering views of Japan’s sacred peak. The prefecture is also a foodies’ paradise, with orchards teeming with fruit, including vineyards that produce much of the country’s wine.
