Ehime

Comprising the northwest quarter of Shikoku and dozens of small islands in the Seto Inland Sea, Ehime offers beautiful coastal and sea views. There is also plenty of attractions to explore. The prefectural capital, Matsuyama, has a castle dating from the 1600s, and Dogo Onsen is thought to be the oldest hot spring in Japan, with a history of some 3,000 years.
